THE TORTACO STORY...
BORN INTO HIS FAMILY-OWNED INDUSTRIAL MANUFACTURING MACHINE SHOP, he was introduced to the trade at an early age. Starting with odd jobs, his father soon recognized his talent and assigned him to be a production assistant. Far too creative to be confined to the day-to-day, he took off to explore the world and experience life unfiltered. Along the way, he picked up a body full of tattoos and more than a few bad habits as he hit the road on his customized ‘64 motorcycle. Eventually he returned to take over his father’s legacy while putting his own mark on the shop, morphing it from its origin to customized cars, motorcycles, tattoos and now spirits, tortas and tacos. 40 VOLT created this simple promotional video for Good Union that showcases the most important attributes of a restaurant, it's food, atmosphere, and customer enjoyment. These promo videos were delivered in 60, 30 and 15 second versions suitable for use in different social media outlets.
MESO MAYA DISH INTRODUCTIONS
MESO MAYA wanted to create a series of videos that showcase their unique offerings in a way that gave the viewer an insight to how dishes are prepared without giving a step-by-step how to. This creates a visual way to explain the chef's creations and create brand awareness through the serie's continuity on social media.
CINCO DE MAYO PARTY...
TAQUERIA LA VENTANA hosted the largest Cinco de Mayo party in Dallas and wanted to document it in a unique way. The party was filmed with a drone to capture a birds eye view of the party and to showcase the location in the middle of downtown Dallas. Multiple clips were edited to provide social media content of various lengths for differing outlets.
HOW TO BOIL CRAWFISH...
RAZOO'S CAJUN CAFE wanted a video for social media to create a buzz around crawfish season. Crawfish boils are a great way to celebrate the onset of summer with backyard parties, so showing some tips of how to boil crawfish the right way seemed like a good way to create added value for the brand's social media efforts. The video also creates awareness and interest in their specialty seasonal menu. The theme is consistent with other elements of the brand with music, text and animations following cues from the "in restaurant" experience.
THE MAKING OF CHEDDAR FRIES
SNUFFER'S RESTAURANT & BAR wanted to showcase their most popular dish in a unique way. We accomplished this with a nostalgic nod to the VH1 "Pop Up Video".
